Blusher veils usually cover the eyes or extend down to the chin. They are a perfect match with sophisticated, modern or wedding dresses that have a high neck line. They are super stylish and considered hassle free. Shoulder length veils measure approximately 20 inches in length. They perfectly suit dresses that are heavily detailed in the front and/or back of the bodice. However, they are considered informal for classic and formal wedding dresses. Elbow veils measure approximately 25 inches long. These veils fall close to the elbow area. They are perfect to wear with the romantic ball wedding gown style, because they end where the fullness in the skirt begins. Fingertip veils are the top veil choice for it reaches around the fingertips. The Fingertip veil measures approximately 36 inches long and matches perfectly with the majority of dress styles. Chapel veils are slightly shorter than Cathedral length veils. The chapel veil drapes onto the floor as the cathedral veils do. These veils are usually worn with dresses that have long trains for they are approximately 90 inches long. Cathedral veils are known as the longest and the most formal veils. They are usually very long, around 120 inches long and some may measure up to nine feet long the ground! They work best with full length, classic wedding gowns.
